Three Springs, Inc. today announced the appointment of Lance Nabers to the staff of New Dominion School Virginia, an outdoor therapeutic program for boys and girls, ages 11-18, with behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges. In his role as clinical director, Mr Nabers will provide full-time clinical consultation to students, supervision and training to program staff.
“In our search for a clinical director, we looked for a licensed clinician who brings strong clinical skills, with emphasis on individual and group therapy, as well as clinical supervision of staff,” said Greg Coleman, Administrator, New Dominion School.
“Mr. Nabers’ enthusiasm for the therapeutic approach within a natural environment is a positive match for our students and staff.”
Most recently affiliated with TeamBuilders Counseling Services in New Mexico, Mr. Nabers served as the Clinical Supervisor-Program Therapist. He previously worked with Mental Health Services of Petersburg, Alaska as a Clinical Therapist, providing individual, family and group therapy.
According to Mark S. Horner, Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Consultant to Three Springs, “Mr. Nabers brings extensive clinical experience in adolescent treatment and program development to New Dominion School, which will allow for significant enhancements in its clinical programming.”
Mr. Nabers holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University.
